Re: Home Owners Insurance

I have not been impressed with allstate for some time. I have shopped around for automobile insurance lately, and found better deals even with a lower deductible. Alas my wife hates change, and I think I might be stuck with Allstate. Recently I was upset over an accident that happened at my in-laws house. We live there and they wanted to get Direct T.V. They have a lot of trees. So I climbed up and removed some branches. The last one fell weird, and knocked the ladder out from underneath me. I fell 16 feet and luckily only broke two ribs. My Father-in-law called Allstate to turn in a claim. Allocate gave him a lame answer and said that I was not covered. That does not sound right to me. So I think whether my wife likes it or not we are going to cancel our policy next month. I will also try to talk everyone that I know who has Allstate to leave the company and find new a new insurance. |

Prepping for spring and summer weather surprises
Posted by

Winter in our area this year has been incredible mild. It makes me wonder what the weather will be like over the summer, including storm season. We're planning ahead by replacing the storm windows in the early spring.
Is anyone else planning ahead? Any wonder what the weather holds in store for you this year? |

Spring is almost here! Well, maybe not quite yet, but it's soon enough. We're thinking of doing some renovations to our home. In fact, it's pretty major. Finishing an entire basement. I never realized just how much planning it would take! We realize that the investment raises the value of our house so it really is a good thing. The big thing is the budget!
Anyone else planning ahead for spring? |

I have been an Allstate customer for over 27 years. As I have calculated, over 40 thousand dollars of my hard earned money has gone to Allstate. I thought I was in good hands....apparently, I have been in greasy, grimey money hungry hands who only want to take my money but not come across when I need the coverage that I am required to have. I had a leak under my house and they are refusing to cover it!!!!! Exactly why do I have an insurance company that required that I pay on time but refuses to pay out when I have a problem. ALLSTATE.....YOU ARE MAYHEM!!!! |
